2 Chronicles 7:14 (King James Version)

“…

If my
people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray,
and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from
heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

…”

In 1776, the Continental Congress appointed May 17 as an official national day of fasting and prayer for the colonies  and just 6 weeks later, the Declaration of Independence was composed and the United States of America was founded as a result of this prayer!

Prayer is the power that moves the hand of God.  Join with patriots around the country  to ask God to use His hand to bless us and guide us in the days ahead by pledging to fast and pray on Monday May 17.
