Fantastically - the "right to vote" is conferred on every US citizen - both natural born and naturalized alike.

Of course, there are some restrictions! I mean, they don't let children vote, non-citizens aren't allowed to vote (though some suggest they might, thanks to motor-voter bills in many states) and often, the mentally deranged are precluded from voting.

Why?

The perceived right to "universal suffrage" is indeed based on a capacitance -err I mean capacity or should say incapacity issue.  And excepting those low barriers to entry, nearly all above 18 are allowed to vote.

"No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main; if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less...any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind... "

                                                                        (John Donne)

Just as Donne expressed that we are all connected, so too are the consequences of our votes! No vote is cast in a vacuum; each vote either reinforces or dilutes every other vote. The consequences of each vote extend beyond the single voter to the entire voting public.

In this context, I present the following video (hat-tip Chris Casler) Please watch the entire video.

Here is the link refernced in the video: http://howobamagotelected.com/

As the video clearly demonstrates - we do have a voting problem in the United States. Not because too few are allowed to vote. Instead, too many are allowed to vote without full understanding of the consequences. Moreover, the uninformed may be intentionally misinformed from the vary news sources they depend on for accurate information. The Mainstream Media who - at least in this election - appear to 'have a dog in the hunt' and is certainly culpable in perpetrating voter fraud on us all.

Of course there is a remedy; but, what would yours be?

Exiled in our own country, we are like captive tribes in an 'po-mo' O'-Babylon, where the duped masses are now being wooed by counterfeit claims of:  Liberté, Equalité, Fraternité.

Instead of real Liberty: we are tendered socialism where our efforts are enslaved and dissent is shouted down; instead of real Equality -we are proffered 'political correctness', fake group-egalitarianism and anti-western thought under the guise of multiculturalism;  and instead of real Fraternity we are offered mandatory conformity, the Nation of Islam and Black Liberation Theology.

Unlike the opposition party in 2000 and in 2004,  -  Nearly all of us in political exile, do NOT want the country to fail just to advance a "party agenda". And to that extent, we do want the president elect to be successful. Most of us want America to be successful, we need America to be successful. In fact I would say the entire world needs US to be successful. Like a modern day Atlas, our shoulders - America's shoulders - are the shoulders that uphold  the world.

However, as socialists - cloaked under a progressive moniker, implement plans for radical change, we must be ever ready to speak truth to power. We must stand ready to speak out against and prepare to thwart politically:

  • plans to redefine or even deny our Judeo-Christian foundation and heritage
  • plans to undermine our faith
  • plans to usurp our God-granted liberty and rights
  • plans to inculcate our children
  • plans to redistribute income,
  • plans to nationalize (steal) our 401K and pension plan.
  • plans to silence an opposing voice
  • plans to loose the war on Terrorism
  • plans for amnesty for illegal aliens
  • plans for global poverty tax

As an added bonus, I've culled this 'top ten list' from "The Communist Manifesto" it can be found in section II Proletarians and Communists (immediately preceding section III). Read this a be afraid!

    1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes.
    2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
    3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.
    4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.
    5. Centralization of credit in the banks of the state, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly.
    6. Centralization of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the state.
    7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state; the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
    8. Equal obligation of all to work. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.
    9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of all the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the populace over the country.
    10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production, etc.

news from the "Front": the "payer vote" AKA the investor vote - the 59 million Americans who DID NOT vote for Barrack Hussein Obama are still shouting and their voices were heard again yesterday:  the DOW was down another 176 points. That is nearly 2% of the current market value.

Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.

Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward

(Isaiah 1:2, 4 KJV)

Without so much as a denial, let alone a denunciation, in an Orwellian sidestep worthy of 1984, Barack Hussein Obama deflected the claim that he was a Socialist to actually assert that John McCain /Sara Palin wanted to make a virtue out of selfishness!  - vid below -

Continuing reinforcement of what we already know: captions and sound tracks aside, the video/audio of Barrack Hussein Obama talking about the failure of capitalism is stunning.    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fxz3UgwCR0

I know this is old news; but, I've been thinking about this for the last few days. Now the real news is not that Barack Hussein Obama is a socialist - the real news is "that no one  cares!  No one  -outside payer vote,  the conservative blogosphere, pornographic radio and a few at  Fox News.

Well lets speak plainly - Socialist advocate for state or collective OWNERSHIP of you! Ownership of what you make, what you do, and what you think!

This means you don't own you - instead you are a slave. A slave to the collective! A slave to the hive! A slave to the shiftless -a slave to the "why can't I live without work crowd"! A slave to a looting state where capitalism is destroyed, poverty 'trickles up' and all that is left is a brutal existence where 'everybody plunders everybody'. At last, we finally have a fair 'society' where the equivalence of financial gang rape is viewed as selflessness.

"The power of the county" - the Posse Comitatus ACT was passed 1878 to keep the United States Military specifically from traditional civilian law enforcement duties and return it to its role of defending the borders of the country.

During Reconstruction and prior to its passage, the army was used to enforce presidential authority over a civilian population - including stationing of federal troops at political events and polling places.  Can you say voter intimidation?

"Change you can believe in" may soon be coming to a polling place near you - as president elect Barrack Hussein Obama is clearly advocating the creation of a Civilian National Security Force. (see vid below)

Now, if the real purpose of the CNSF were to 'fight crime', why not increase funding to existing law enforcement in every city, in every county and every state? And before we add any NEW LAWS, why not attempt to enforce the ones already have?/!

Though I suspect that the real purpose of the CNSF is to impose conformity, tamp down dissent and enforce presidential authority over a civilian population.

News from the front: the payer vote is still speaking - and two days post election the Dow was down again - almost 450 points! Holy cow! Suppose the capitalists on Wall Street are a bit anxious about what the socialists in Washington may be planning?

Well the voters have had their say.

And now "the markets" - the Stock Market - or at least those that invest in them have spoken as well.  These investors are the men and women who actually have "a stake" in the outcome. You might say that this is the will of the "payer" vote - the ones who actually have to pay for what politicians promise.

That result was not pretty - in a loud clanging voice - investors shouted "sell!" The day following Election Day 2008 the Dow was down nearly 500 points. Can you say Obamanxiety. How ironic, Obama-Anxiety for an Obama-Nation!

The mighty "financial motor" of the entire world - the Untied States economy-  has the looming specter of economic sabotage perpetrated on her citizens by the very politicians just elected.

Liberal Politicians, Progressive Politicians, politicians who openly distain capitalism, who neither understand commerce nor appreciate the value of risk and the sometimes reward.. Politicians who will mete out harsh punishment on all 'out of favor businesses' with punitive cap and trade policies, beget an aggressive tax agenda and force  progressive income redistribution on anyone left with a job. Can you say; "Jobs, baby Jobs"! All for the ultimate vote buying scheme: bribing the voter! Even though history has proven - over and over again -  that government based on the great lie "that everyone can live at the expense of everyone else" always fail.

What was once regarded as theft - taking from someone without their consent or compensation - is now touted as patriotic. What a pant-load of malarkey that is! We have; so lost our way, so lost the meaning of words and most likely lost our economic freedom. Without economic freedom, we lose the ability to pursue our own life, pursue liberty and pursue happiness - we lose everything - except our faith.

Well the news is not all bad:

For the most part, "supporters of the Republic' were returned to office locally -with the exception of two very high profile House Races - where the Democrats sweep away both Tom Fenny and Ric Keller.  Of course they both have had big targets of vulnerability due mostly to their own actions.

As I had explain to Ric Keller early on, his actions over the past two years vis-a-via not supporting W with the surge would certainly not sit well with his base; but, he assured me that; "our district would remain solidly in the republican hands". I told him; "I wouldn't bank on it!"

The marriage amendment passes, as do most of the ballot initiatives that favor some modicum of conservatism. And the Florida House and Senate remain with republic loyalists.

Despite what the "Fifth Column" will tell you, we are still fundamentally to the right of  center at least here in Florida.

A brief note about voting irregularities - in our precinct: the only thing irregularity I noticed was the crush of 'turn-out'.  Since they were all given ballots by the poll workers I can only assume they were registered to vote in my precinct. That being said, after 16 years of voting in this same precinct I barely knew ANY of these people. Hey, as the past president of my Property Owners Association, I know by name many of my precinct residents and know the faces of most of the residents. So when I say I recognized less than 20% of those voting yesterday I was truly astounded by the "Get out the Vote" campaign.

So the sun shines brighter? The birds sing louder? The air breathes sweeter?

The 'World" hails brilliant victory' of our new "Redistributor-in-chief": and that includes: Fidel Casto,Hugo Chavez, Evo Morales, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Ahmed Yousef ,Kim Jong Ill, a host of American terroists and the 'Boys of the West Bank' who bombed Israel by  day and made phone calls for 'Barry' by night. See video below:

And then there's Old Europe- always eager for US ( us or the U.S.) to join them in the same 'crab bucket' of socialism that they are all rotting in.

The one thing all of those have in common, is a desire for a weakened -US, and maybe a misguided sense of schadenfreude; and, oh yea I almost forgot - an open hostility to the free market, freedom, liberty and personal responsibility.

That should give all of us 'cause for pause' and perhaps instill more than a tinge of 'buyers remorse'.

And. . . on the other hand - Atlas Shrugs!

(* well about half or us of U.S. anyway)

Our founding fathers - to a man - lothed and abhorred direct democracy. Hey, that's why we have a "Republic" in the United States today.  A Republic designed by men - apparently smarter than we - as a 'firebreak' to protect us all - from the tyranny of the majority.

In fact  "... the term "democrat" originated as an epithet and referred to 'one who panders to the crude and mindless whims of the masses." (Joseph Ellis - "Founding Brothers: The Revolutionary Generation").

Not only was the word "democrat" a pejorative - it was "fighting words". Inferring that someone might be a democrat could just as likely result in a duel as mere scornful invective.

Fast forward to election season - 2008, where partisans proudly announce; "it's a democrat year."  And, on Election Day they wait; giddy and trembling with anticipation for the 'great wisdom' of the mindless masses to wash over us.

At what cost to our beloved Republic is ignorance?

Perhaps the word Democrat is no less an epithet today as it was some 200 years ago. Though - my guess is - that many of those so self described would see themselves as "agents of change" rather than as simple "dumb masses".
