Lets see, cardiac arrest after a purported injection of Demerol! Tragic end to a tragic life.

I say MJ’s life was tragic because of the waste and squandering of so much creativity and potential.

For our political blog at Harangue, the most telling thing - and possibly the most dangerous thing is how the MJ death has completely consumed the news cycle on the eve of the “Cap and Trade” vote. A vote that will have wide ranging tax consequences - increasing taxes on everything from the food you buy, to the gas you put in your vehicle to the energy you used to heat or cool your home.

Unfortunately, MJ’s death, tragic as it is, looks to have even more impact on us than we know can possibly guess - simply by overshadowing everything else in the news cycle.
